You’ve probably guessed by now that I love playing the ‘Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle Earth’ board game, and I am always looking for accessories to improve the tokens of it. While at Aire Con, one of the stalls had a sale on Wiz Kids Deep Cutz figures. So barrels and a desk just had to be bought to replace the cardboard tokens.

These were quite straight forward to paint. A simple base layer, then a wash, and finally details were painted on. I wanted to give the impression that these barrels were old
The desk and chair took a bit more work, as a variety of colours were involved. I do like how the models have so much detail that the wash really highlights the wood grain in them.

Painting these miniatures does increase my knowledge of techniques, and these are transferable to crafting.
