{"id":258,"date":"2020-07-08T10:52:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-08T09:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/serendipityfinchcrafts.co.uk\/?p=258"},"modified":"2020-07-04T11:05:50","modified_gmt":"2020-07-04T10:05:50","slug":"the-wargs-are-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/serendipityfinchcrafts.co.uk\/?p=258","title":{"rendered":"The Wargs are here"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Over lockdown I decided to continue painting the miniatures from &#8216;Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle Earth&#8217; board game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I again used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=CLs6u7eq4W4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sorastro&#8217;s painting series<\/a> on YouTube. I find him very useful for explaining techniques and pointing out different aspects of the figures. It was the first time I had attempted eyes. The pupils can be tricky to paint. I ran with my mistake and gave each of them an injured eye. This gave them character.
